In the same vein as [snippet 436](http://www.djangosnippets.org/snippets/436/), this allows you to differentiate view logic by HTTP method such as GET, POST, PUT, DELETE. This is also very useful combined with the [HttpMethodsMiddleware snippet](http://www.djangosnippets.org/snippets/174/). I am not the author, but I have found it to be very helpful.
`backupdb` command allows to make a database backup automatically. It's supposed to do this just before a `syncdb`, `reset` or `flush` command in a server deployment. A usual upgrade task in production server could be: ./manage.py backupdb ./manage.py reset myapp ./manage.py syncdb Put this code in your project's `management/commands/backupdb.py` file.
Call resize_image to replace the image with a resized and normalized version of itself. I recommend doing this with celery, but you could also hook it up to the admin interface if you're not impatient.

Standarization of image fields (for being used when saving models). Automatically creates thumbnail. Change image name to /path/to/images/<my_field>-<id>.<ext>. Resize image and thumbnail to specified size (optionally can crop image to force size).
You only have to put the code in some of your models.py and to have django-fiber installed in your system. Every image uploaded using Fiber admin dialog will be automatically resized and thumbnailed. Or whatever you need to do with it.
This GeoDjango subclass substitutes in the Google Maps base layer instead of the default one provided by Open Street Map. Requires the [google.html](http://www.djangosnippets.org/snippets/1145/) and [google.js](http://www.djangosnippets.org/snippets/1146/) templates (must be placed in `gis/admin` somewhere in your template path). Requires a Google Maps API key -- please abide by Google's [terms of service](http://code.google.com/apis/maps/terms.html).

Custom ImageField filename
A decorator that allows the programmer to restrict access to some views only to non logged-in users. For instance, if an user in logged in, it should be denied access to views like /accounts/register or /accounts/login.

The script that can be used to profile any Django-powered web-site and find how many SQL-queries are used per page, how heavy html-pages are, etc. To use the the script it's enough to put django-profile.py somewhere in PYTHONPATH and call it from the directory that holds projects' settings.py. Help setting up directories
This replaces the html select box for a foreign key field with a link to that object's own admin page. The foreign key field (obviously) is readonly. This is shamelessly based upon the [Readonly admin fields](http://www.djangosnippets.org/snippets/937/) snippet.
